Role Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual therapy services to K-12 students throughout Kansas. As an independent contractor, you’ll enjoy the freedom to work from home while supporting students in schools across the state. Leveraging VocoVision’s cutting-edge teletherapy platform, you’ll help students overcome speech and language challenges, ensuring they thrive academically and socially.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct online speech and language evaluations that align with Kansas' educational standards.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet students’ IEP goals and specific needs.
- Facilitate interactive, engaging teletherapy sessions using VocoVision’s secure platform.
- Collaborate with educators, school staff, and parents to foster student progress and success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, track progress, and make data-driven adjustments.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and provide expert guidance based on Kansas regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Active Kansas SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in school-based settings or familiarity with Maine's educational system (preferred).
- Strong technical skills and the ability to use teletherapy tools effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
