Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist, using your expertise to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives throughout the academic year in the Kansas City metro area. This full-time contract opportunity offers a diverse caseload split between a high school and middle school, and potentially an additional campus. Working onsite, you’ll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and contribute valuable support to specialized education classrooms as well as provide overflow services where needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work with high school and middle school populations
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Familiarity with IEPs and progress monitoring

What You'll Do:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in specialized education classrooms (ESC and BEST)
• Provide overflow support to students at the middle school and potentially an additional school
• Manage a rotating schedule: 3 days/week at the high school and 2 days/week at other campuses
• Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to tailor interventions
• Maintain timely and accurate records, documentation, and reports
