Experienced Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract role will find an engaging opportunity to make a significant impact in the school setting. This full-time position involves serving students across multiple educational locations, supporting diverse populations with a focus on both individualized needs and collaborative teamwork.

The assignment runs from late August through late May and provides a dynamic work environment split between a high school, a middle school, and potentially another district building, offering variety in your daily schedule and caseload. At the high school, you’ll primarily support students in specialized programs, while two days a week will be dedicated to “overflow” support at other sites. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 4:40pm, ensuring a predictable schedule and healthy work-life balance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to a broad spectrum of students in high school, middle school, and potentially another site within the district.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and promote student success.
• Document and track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Provide specialized services in the ESC and BEST classrooms and coordinate additional support as needed for referred students.
• Communicate regularly with families and contribute to interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive student care.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active SLP license required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working in K-12 settings; familiarity with school-based caseloads is highly valued.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with flexibility to travel between sites as needed.
