Job summary: Manual soldering to assemble, test, and create wire harnessing for aerospace/simulation products in a fast-paced production environment.

Job duties: Assemble electronic equipment, install components, units, sub-assemblies, & wiring.

• Assemble units with process that may include but not limited to: soldering, stripping wires, crimping pins, heat shrinking of tubing, labels.
• Read and interpret drawings, Schematics, specifications, work orders or reports.
• Test products to ensure conformance to specification.
• Perform manual assembly during the small-scale production of electronic devices used in simulated avionic systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrate good soldering skills.
• Recent PC Board soldering experience.
• Able to read work instructions and assembly drawings.
• Ability to fully wire units using schematics and wiring diagrams with little to no supervision
• Knowledge of operating crimping tools, ohmmeter, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
• Electronic Engineering Tech degree preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to sit for a long period of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, stand, walk, reach, pull up to 20 pounds.
