Job Description
As Program Analyst, GS-0343, your typical work assignments may include, but not limited to:
- Develop and implement programmatic, administrative, and operational policies and procedures; provides advisory services on issues of substantial scope and impact throughout the organization.
- Analyze and evaluate (on a quantitative and/or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals and objectives.
- Ability to design, organize and execute short- and long-term studies of programs, policies, and budget issues, particularly those with energy resource and capital improvement implications.
- Ability to explain persuasively, and to write clearly about complex and controversial issues and make recommendations to senior level officials with various perspectives and concerns.
- Develop and refine strategies, policies and action plans to improve program quality and performance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on all matters related to oil and gas regulations, policies, development and operations.
