Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Duties include:

• Assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care
• Administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician
• Ensure safety and provide consistent therapeutic milieu management and crisis intervention strategies
• Provides direct care to patients on assigned unit
• Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments
• Establishes therapeutic rapport with the patient, provides support and utilizes approved crisis intervention techniques

Available Schedules:

• Day: 7:00am to 7:30pm
• Night: 7:00pm to 7:30am

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college of nursing. BSN or BS preferred
• Specialty certification also preferred
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred
• Licensure/Certification: Current SC RN license or an RN license from a compact state required; CPI training provided upon hire
