Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Collaborate with the rehab team to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatments to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
- Promote a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for recovery
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in Oklahoma (or compact eligibility)
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- BLS certification required
- New graduates encouraged to apply
- Previous inpatient rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of physical therapy modalities, therapeutic exercise, and patient assessment
- Understanding of rehabilitation principles for diverse patient populations
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
