Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
- Participate in discharge planning to support successful transitions to home or next level of care
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in Oklahoma or compact eligibility
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Skilled in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced rehab environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation
