Office Manager / Bookkeeper

Office Manager Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and responsible Office Manager to manage our daily administrative operations. This position requires answering the phone, organizing and filing, review and accounts payable items, communicating with clients, and scheduling appointments. Other tasks include retrieving postal mail, filing building permits, ensuring office supplies are stocked, and placing orders for items as needed. The primary goal of this position is to keep our front office running smoothly. Our ideal candidate has at least three years of administrative assistant work, or in a customer service role, and knows how to manage the different administrative needs of a busy office. Office Manager Duties and Responsibilities Schedule meetings and appointments; provide reminders to staff when important events are upcoming Organize and inventory office supplies and order more when needed Ensure that invoices are paid on time Follow through with customer contracts from creation to completion Provide general support to visitors who come into the office Maintain logs and reports through QuickBooks, Excel, Google Drive etc. Maintaining employee files and reports Onboarding new employees Office Manager Requirements and Qualifications Associate degree preferred Experience in the construction / carpentry field preferred Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Experience in an administrative, customer service, or other related role Basic knowledge of accounting Excellent communication and organizational skills Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Benefits 8 Paid holidays Paid time off SIMPLE IRA with Employer Match Aflac Education Reimbursement #J-18808-Ljbffr
