Job Summary:
Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Progressive Care in Asheville, North Carolina. This position involves providing specialized care to patients recovering from cardiovascular and vascular surgery, including open-heart procedures, thoracic surgeries, and vascular repairs. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of employment.

• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, no minimum experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience, stepdown experience, prior CV surgery and vascular surgery population experience (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, fem-pop bypass) within a year, CVICU experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: No call, minimum of 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday, day/night) per 6-week schedule period, flexible to work holidays.
• Responsibilities include managing epidural, chest tube, and IV glucose pumps, administering cardiac medications, and providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
