Marketing Assistant

Location: Remote / Work From Home — Must Reside in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone Schedule: Monday–Thursday Industry: Financial Services / Financial Planning Position Overview We are seeking a professional, organized, and personable Marketing Assistant to support our financial planning practice. This is a remote, work-from-home position focused primarily on contacting existing clients to schedule their annual account review appointments. The Marketing Assistant will help maintain strong client relationships by ensuring clients have the opportunity to review their existing policies and financial planning needs with their financial planner. During these calls, the assistant may also identify clients who are interested in learning more about retirement planning, investment management, estate and trust planning, and other available financial planning services. Key Responsibilities Contact existing clients by phone to schedule their annual account review appointments. Explain the purpose of the annual review and the importance of keeping their financial information and planning needs up to date. Coordinate appointment dates and times between clients and the financial planner. Follow up with clients who have not responded or have not yet scheduled their reviews. Maintain accurate records of calls, appointment confirmations, and follow-up activities. Update client contact information and appointment details in the designated systems. Identify clients who express interest in additional financial planning services and communicate those opportunities to the financial planner. Provide a professional, friendly, and courteous client experience during every interaction. Handle client information confidentially and follow company policies and applicable privacy requirements. Qualifications Excellent verbal communication and telephone skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with existing clients. Professional, friendly, and confident telephone manner. Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and online scheduling systems. Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks in a remote environment. Previous experience in customer service, appointment setting, telemarketing, or financial services is preferred but not required. Work Schedule and Requirements Full-time position working Monday through Thursday . Fridays are not part of the regular work schedule. Fully remote; work from home. Must reside in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone and be available during the required business hours. Must have reliable high-speed internet, a quiet home workspace, and a phone suitable for professional client calls. Training, call scripts, and guidance will be provided. What Success Looks Like Consistently scheduling annual account review appointments. Maintaining accurate client records and completing follow-ups on time. Building positive relationships with existing clients. Identifying opportunities for additional financial planning conversations. Helping the financial planner maintain an organized and effective annual review process. Compensation: Starting pay is $20 per hour, with the opportunity to increase to $25 per hour after successful training and demonstrated proficiency in the role. Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Thursday. Fully remote position; applicants must reside in the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
