Assess patients of all ages using both standardized and observational techniques to identify their unique communication needs.

Create individualized treatment strategies that target immediate objectives as well as ongoing communication and swallowing skills.

Deliver focused speech therapy sessions emphasizing language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.

Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure a seamless patient care experience.

Educate patients and their families to enhance engagement and progress outside of structured therapy sessions.

Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the recovery journey.

Keep meticulous documentation in accordance with applicable guidelines and standards.

Engage in professional development and continue to stay ahead in the field through education and collaboration.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet achieved ASHA certification.

Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based approaches across all age groups, with a solid understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills for collaborating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Adept at modifying therapy methods to accommodate varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Competent in navigating electronic health records and maintaining documentation standards.
