- Ability to perform audit testing and document work appropriately

- Willingness to learn and develop technical accounting and auditing skills

- Basic audit methodologies and testing procedures
- Financial statement auditing
- Compliance audits
- Accounting principles and financial reporting
- GAAP fundamentals
- Financial statement preparation
- Audit documentation and workpapers
- Risk assessment concepts
- Account reconciliations and financial analysis
- Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, reconciliations, and audit work
- Accounting and audit software, such as CaseWare, CCH, or similar platforms
