Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in their healing journey.

• Monitor and document client progress meticulously, re-evaluating treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals for integrated care strategies.

• Stay current with research and advances in mood disorder treatments to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal and ethical standards in documentation and client interactions.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to improve clinical skills.

• Act as a client advocate, addressing mental health stigma and advocating for the needs of marginalized populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily work with individuals facing mood disorders, including those battling depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our client population is diverse, encompassing various backgrounds and experiences, including vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your role will be pivotal in helping these clients navigate their challenges and achieve mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual compensation between USD 70,000 and 90,000, based on qualifications and experience.
