Overview
Registered Nurse – CVICU in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, United States. Start date: 07/06/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,518–$2,634. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Nights (5x8). Setting: cardiovascular intensive care unit within an inpatient clinical environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, holistic nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the CVICU, including postoperative management after open-heart surgery.
- Monitor hemodynamics, interpret cardiac rhythms, and operate/assess invasive devices as applicable.
- Administer medications and hemodynamic infusions, with careful assessment for adverse effects and drug interactions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and revise the plan of care; communicate changes to patients and families.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Respond to emergencies, participate in rounds, and provide patient/family education as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC) certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of CVICU/post-open heart surgery experience; experience with fresh open-heart surgery patients required; adult and geriatric population experience
- Cardiac rhythm interpretation required
- Epic experience required
- Impella and balloon pump experience preferred
- Two supervisory references with dates employed required; Skills checklist current to 1 year
