This position reports to: Supervisor Manufacturing

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor. You will also showcase your expertise by reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels. The work model for the role is: Onsite.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• The Production Operator 2 role is responsible for Connecting, Testing, Machining, or Painting operations. On the job training is provided.
• Must be able to stand for entire shift.
• Must have regular and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to perform a fair amount of lifting 30 lbs regularly, bending, twisting, and moving though the facility.
• Must be able to read and understand and instructions in English.
• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
• Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications for the Role (Mandatory)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have one year of work experience or one year of experience plus training.
• One year of Industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience in a motor manufacturing facility is preferred.
• You are at ease communicating in English.
• Reasonable computer skills are required.
