Summary: Provide compassionate, person-centered assistance and companionship to assigned residents, supporting activities of daily living, life-enriching activities, and individualized care needs while promoting resident safety, dignity, and the community's hospitality standards. Build meaningful relationships with an assigned roster of residents and their families by learning preferences, personalities, and care goals. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) - including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility assistance, and mealtime support - following each resident's Individualized Service Plan (ISP). - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Invite, Encourage, Assist (IEA) residents to participate in life skills and multi-sensory, engagement activities tailored to each resident's ISP and demographic profile. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Serve as the primary caregiver for a designated group during each shift: know residents' locations, perform regular safety checks, and promptly report concerns. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Participate in development and monthly updates of Individualized Service Plans, providing observations and recommendations to the care team. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Notify management and clinical staff of any changes in residents' condition and recommend adjustments in care level or services as appropriate. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Support dining service by responding to resident and guest needs while upholding hospitality and service standards. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Partner with the community team to maintain OSHA compliance, promote risk management policies, and follow safety rules and infection-prevention procedures. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving when addressing resident needs and escalate issues per policy. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Perform other duties as assigned to support resident well-being and community operations.

High school diploma or GED preferred; may be required where state regulations mandate. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">

Demonstrated dedication to serving older adults with excellent customer service and a positive attitude. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">
Prior experience working with seniors or in a long-term care, assisted living, or memory care setting preferred. - p]:pt-0 [&> p]:mb-2 [&> p]:my-0\" style=\"\">

In applicable states, current required certifications (for example, CNA/PCT or state-specific training) must be maintained.

Basic familiarity with emergency response procedures and documentation in electronic or paper charting systems.
