REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Provide advanced surgical care for thoracic oncology patients (lung, chest wall, mediastinal, pleural diseases)
  
• Minimally invasive thoracic surgery
  
• Robotic surgery
  
• VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery)
  
• Advanced bronchoscopy
  
• Endoscopic procedures for lungs and esophagus
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: MN license or Universal License (IMLC)
  
• Board: BC in Thoracic Surgery or Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery
  
• DEA: Yes
  
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS Tier 2
  
• Experience: Minimum 2 years
  
• Other Qualifications: Preferred: Completion of Thoracic Oncology Fellowship, 2+ years of trained thoracic or cardiothoracic surgeon with an emphasis in thoracic malignancy, 2+ years of robotic surgical skills
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide advanced surgical care for thoracic oncology patients, including those with lung, chest wall, mediastinal, and pleural diseases
  
• Perform a broad range of thoracic procedures: xywuqvp minimally invasive thoracic surgery, robotic surgery, VATS, advanced bronchoscopy, and endoscopic procedures for lungs and esophagus
  
• Work clinical schedule: 2 days in clinic, 2 days in surgery/procedures, and 1 flexible day for administrative or surgical overflow
  
• Participate in overnight and weekend call coverage shared among the surgeons
  
• Collaborate with support staff including PAs, nurse navigator, clinic RNs, and provider coordinator
