As an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns. Assist with directing visitors, managing deliveries, and communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
