Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager Our client, a well-established healthcare organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee key accounting functions including Month-End Close, Financial Reporting, Audits, Accounts Receivable/Payable, and Payroll. This role reports directly to the CFO and collaborates closely with the VP of Finance and other senior leaders. Why Work Here Opportunity to work with a mission-driven organization that positively impacts the community Collaborative leadership team and supportive work environment Exposure to complex healthcare financial operations and compliance Professional growth and development opportunities Strong organizational stability with over 100 years of service Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager Lead the monthly financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting Oversee AR/AP, payroll, and daily financial operations Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, internal policies, and procedures Coordinate external audits, including annual financial statement audits and grant audits Partner with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and maintain strong internal controls Qualifications Preferred for the Accounting Manager Education: BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership Preferred: Healthcare industry experience; CPA or MBA (not required but a plus)
