Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiologist

Our organization is currently looking for a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join our team at Queens Hospital Center (QHC) in Jamaica, New York. We are eager to find a dynamic, motivated, and skilled individual to enhance our department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for both Interventional Radiology (50%) and Diagnostic Radiology (50%) at Queens Hospital Center.
• Participate in approximately 130,000 studies conducted annually by the Radiology Department.
• Utilize advanced imaging technology, including two 128-slice CT scanners, a PET/CT scanner, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, ultrasound, diagnostic x-rays, fluoroscopy suites, and nuclear medicine.
• Collaborate with another Interventional Radiologist in a well-equipped IR Suite featuring a state-of-the-art GE machine.
• Perform a variety of interventional procedures, including venous access, non-vascular procedures/biopsies, and visceral and pulmonary interventions.
• Work alongside a dedicated team, including three nurses, one technologist, and a full-time Physician Assistant.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
• Completion of a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology.
• Valid license to practice in the State of New York.
