Plano, TX | Hybrid
$120,000–$140,000 Base Salary

We're looking for an accomplished supply-chain business development professional who knows how to find and close business.

This is not simply a “knowledge of supply chain” position. We're looking for someone who has personally developed and closed warehousing and contract-logistics opportunities.

You'll work with companies facing complex logistics challenges—warehousing, outsourced distribution, transportation and broader supply-chain needs. You'll meet with senior decision makers, understand what they're trying to accomplish, work with Operations to develop the right solution, build and present the proposal, negotiate the commercial terms and close the business.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years in supply-chain, logistics or 3PL sales/business development
• Proven success personally developing and closing warehousing/contract -logistics business
• Strong understanding of warehousing, distribution and transportation
• Experience prospecting for and developing new business
• Ability to sell confidently to Director, VP and C-level decision makers
• Strong commercial negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Transportation/brokerage experience strongly valued
• International freight-forwarding knowledge is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred

You need to understand how the pieces fit together—and know how to turn a customer's logistics problem into business.
