The Opportunity We’re hiring a Director of Employee Experience Operations to lead the design and delivery of people‑centred processes across HR, Finance, Legal, Business Technology, and Facilities. This leadership role is focused on simplifying the employee experience, reducing handoffs, and ensuring employees feel supported by the organization. What You’ll Do End‑to‑end process ownership and employee experience Own and continuously improve employee lifecycle processes—including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, leave, accommodations, pay, job movement, and organizational changes—that span multiple functions. Treat friction as a problem to be fixed, not tolerated; start every review from the employee’s perspective. Build a repeatable method to identify friction (feedback, escalations, help‑desk trends) and translate it into a prioritized improvement roadmap. Define, track, and report measures of friction and delight (time‑to‑resolve, number of touchpoints, rework rate, satisfaction) to leadership and employees. Re‑imagining business processes with AI Rethink employee‑experience operations end‑to‑end, assuming AI and automated workflows are available as the default. Identify high‑volume, repetitive tasks and lead redesign to hand them to AI agents with appropriate guardrails. Partner with Business Technology to embed AI across HR, Finance, and Legal workflows—automation, intelligent routing, self‑service, and case handling. Set standards for when a process should be automated, augmented, or eliminated, maintaining quality, compliance, and employee trust. Cross‑functional orchestration Act as the bridge between HR, Finance (payroll, compensation), Legal (policy, compliance, contracts, risk), Business Technology (systems and data), and Facilities. Build strong relationships with functional leaders so process changes are sustainable. Represent the employee and manager perspective in decisions that might otherwise be made solely from a functional lens. Who You Are 8+ years in HR or financial operations, HR shared services, or a similar cross‑functional operations role. Strong operational thinking: you map processes, spot breakdowns, and design simpler paths. Excellent cross‑functional influence skills, building trust and alignment without reporting lines. A genuine commitment to employee experience, consistently evaluating the employee’s perspective. Direct experience applying AI or agentic AI to real business problems, moving beyond incremental gains to fundamental redesign.
