CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our valued client in Suffolk County, NY in their search for a hands-on, organized Accountant to support their day-to-day accounting and month-end close process. What you'll do

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable: invoicing, cash application, customer collections.
• Process Accounts Payable: vendor disbursements, wire setup/verification, and partner/JV payments.
• Maintain key schedules and reconciliations.
• Post monthly journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support job costing for inventory-related expenses.
• Handle multi-state sales tax.
• Prepare year-end 1099s.
• Assist on ad hoc analyses and projects.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; 1-3 years relevant experience.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; comfortable learning new systems (QuickBooks a plus).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear communicator with strong follow-through and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Compensation

• $70K-$72K base + bonus eligibility.
