We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support purchasing and inventory operations for a collaborative team in Meridian, Idaho. This Contract position is ideal for someone who combines strong procurement judgment with careful inventory control, invoice accuracy, and responsive cross-functional support. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can work onsite, communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, and help keep materials, records, and purchasing activity organized and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities by creating, reviewing, and processing purchase orders in alignment with business needs.

• Monitor inventory levels, track incoming materials, and help maintain accurate stock records to support operational continuity.

• Receive goods and verify order details against shipments, resolving discrepancies with vendors or internal teams when needed.

• Prepare and process invoices with close attention to accuracy, coding, and supporting documentation.

• Partner with onsite colleagues to understand material requirements, clarify requests, and ensure timely procurement support.

• Use NetSuite to maintain purchasing data, update inventory information, and document procurement transactions.

• Assist with vendor coordination and buying activities to help secure products and services that meet cost, quality, and timing expectations.

• Support procurement and related accounting processes by identifying issues early and maintaining organized records for review.

• Experience in corporate procurement, purchasing operations, or a related supply chain role.
• Working knowledge of purchase order creation, buying workflows, and core procurement functions.
• Hands-on experience using NetSuite for procurement, inventory, or transaction processing activities.
• Familiarity with invoice handling and basic accounting principles, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage inventory tracking, receiving tasks, and record accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer support skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience supporting vendor communication and contract negotiation activities is preferred.
