HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (OA)

US Navy

Job Duties You will provide answers to inquiries concerning merit promotion and job application procedures such as ratings, educational requirements, etc. You will send applicant inquiries to hiring regions if inquiry justifies escalation and respond to inquiries regarding status of actions. You will serve as a primary focal point for resolution of handling applicant issues/complaints, researching/troubleshooting the origin of the problems, identifying systemic issues, and ensuring appropriate and timely corrective action. You will perform special projects as required (e.g. metrics and Active Reasonable Accommodation List (ARAL). You will produce documents in draft and/or final format by ensuring documents are prepared and reviewed for spelling, grammar, capitalization, punctuation, presence of necessary enclosures, and proper Navy formatting procedures.
