Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite) - travel for training and some global may be required

Employment: Full-time, direct hire

Compensation: $26 - $30 / hr | $54,000 - $66,000 annually

Openings: 1st, 2nd shifts and (4/10) workweek options, multiple positions available

A global leader in electrical test and measurement solutions, serving utilities, power generation, industrial, and commercial clients worldwide, is seeking skilled Technical Services / Repair Technicians to join its North American service team.

This role supports the repair, calibration, and testing of precision electronic instruments used in critical power systems and industrial environments. The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong diagnostic skills to perform component-level repairs and functional testing. You will use specialized instrumentation and procedures to ensure product quality and strict compliance with global service and calibration standards.

What You Will Be Doing

• Diagnostics & Repair: Perform detailed diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and component-level repairs (both surface mount and through-hole) on advanced electrical and electronic instruments.
• Testing: Utilize test equipment such as digital voltmeters/multimeters (DVMs), oscilloscopes, power supplies, and computer-based test programs to verify product performance.
• Calibration: Support calibration and metrology procedures to ensure compliance with company ISO standards, guaranteeing the accuracy and reliability of test instruments.
• Documentation: Accurately document service results, work orders, and test data within established electronic systems (ERP/CRM; experience with Workday is a plus).
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, product, and customer service teams globally on complex troubleshooting, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

What You Must Have

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience repairing and troubleshooting electronic equipment (preferably instrumentation or electrical test devices) in a production, calibration, or service environment.
• Education: Associate degree (AAS) or equivalent in electronics technology, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of both digital and analog circuitry, with the demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Metrology Knowledge: Familiarity with metrology operations and calibration principles is highly beneficial.
• Computer Literacy: Strong computer proficiency and comfort with data entry and electronic documentation systems.
• Communication: Excellent customer service and communication skills; fluent in English and capable of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Clearance/Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to perform work at certain U.S. government or defense-related facilities.
• Physical Requirements: Physically capable of moving or handling up to 40 pounds unassisted.
