Day (United States of America) Department: 100 - 821000 TG - Accounting Position Description: Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, financial analysis and cost areas. He/she also has primary responsibility for initiating and implementing new projects that increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department. Qualifications: A degree from a recognized college or university with a major either in accounting or in business administration with a minor in accounting. CPA designation preferred; MBA designation preferred. Knowledge of computer systems is preferable as well as previous experience in the accounting or bookkeeping field. Advanced knowledge of general finance or healthcare financial management is preferred. A minimum of one year on-the-job training is required before full assumption of duties. #J-18808-Ljbffr
