Material Planner

A growing manufacturing operation in South Central Indiana is seeking a Material Planner to support production, ensure material availability, and maintain on‑time delivery performance. This is a direct‑hire role offering stability, cross‑functional collaboration, and long‑term growth potential. What You’ll Do Create material plans aligned with production schedules and forecasts Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing shortages and excess Monitor material availability and resolve supply issues proactively Coordinate forecasts and delivery schedules with suppliers Support supplier performance follow‑up on delivery accuracy and flexibility Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics Analyze inventory trends and identify supply risks Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage material requirements and master data What You Bring 2+ years in material planning, production planning, or supply chain OR 5+ years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems Proficiency in Excel and data analysis Who You Are Analytical with strong problem‑solving skills Structured, organized, and detail‑driven Clear, communicative team player Proactive and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
