Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient environments, designing tailored treatment strategies
  • Facilitate physical therapy interventions focusing on mobility, strength enhancement, balance, and overall functional improvement
  • Engage with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
  • Provide crucial education to patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and essential home exercises
  • Meticulously document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in adherence with institutional and regulatory standards
  • Partake in interdisciplinary care team rounds and conferences to ensure the highest standard of coordinated patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Additional specialized certifications (e.g., geriatric, neurological) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
  • Prior experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to manage complex medical and mobility-related patient cases
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
