Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol in Chattanooga, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government tourism location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, document security-related activity, and contribute to a caring, reliable team at Allied Universal that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests at a government tourism location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, entrances, parking areas, offices, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
