Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Chattanooga, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site expectations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, dock zones, trailer yards, warehouse spaces, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and traffic flow for staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel, assisting with entry procedures and observing for unusual activity. Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, documenting security-related concerns, and helping to maintain order during routine and unexpected events. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
