Assistant General Manager

Defined Hospitality is looking for our next dynamic leader to fill an Assistant General Manager position for our restaurant, Suraya. 

Suraya is an all-day Market, Restaurant, & Garden serving Lebanese and Middle Eastern-inspired fare. Suraya is the only restaurant of its kind in Philadelphia, serving a modern take on traditional dishes, accompanied by warm and genuine hospitality. We are seeking like-minded candidates to join our team of hospitality professionals who are highly energetic, creative, and welcoming. Candidates should have prior experience working in a high-volume, culinary-driven, hospitality-focused setting, as well as a genuine love of people and community. 

The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. For this position, we are looking for someone who is an effective communicator - someone who is able to motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.

The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of those around them. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position and detailed work is a major focus of the job!
