Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a fully in-office, on-site position. Key Responsibilities : Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors, maintaining vendor relationships, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance department; Assist in the management of the vendor compliance process by obtaining pertinent documentation from current and prospective vendors (Certificates of Insurance, Subcontractor Agreements, etc.) ; Review and process employee expense reports and credit card statements; Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner; Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting; Maintain detailed and accurate records of transactions; Qualifications : Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; AS or BS in Business Administration, Accounting, or similar preferred; Experience in professional services managing Accounts Payable process preferred; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook & Excel). Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications. Hourly Pay Range $26 - $32 USD Benefits eligibility is dependent on full-time employment status.
