Job Description
Title: Emergency Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule:
- Shift: Day 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Shift type: Day

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state
- 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department with some pediatric experience
- Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC is required to be in hand)
- EMR experience: EPIC
- Skills checklist must match specialty requirements
- Documentation of travel experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Assess and prioritize patient conditions rapidly, executing appropriate interventions for critical cases such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac arrest.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and manage medical equipment as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families regarding health issues and care plans.

Compliance / Notes:
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
- Floating between units may be required.
- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
