Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

ED RN - Emergency Department

Schedule: Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Must live 75 miles away from facility for travel positions; locals may apply.
• Up to date resume with 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department, with pediatric experience.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required.
• Active nursing license verification required.
• Drivers licenses matching demographics required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
• RTO must be included at the time of submission.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Manage acute and critical patient populations, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer medications and manage drips as per protocols.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control guidelines.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Charge capability preferred.
• Floating required between units.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.
• Orientation and additional compliance requirements may apply.
