Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care to IMCU/PCU patients, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases
- Manage conditions such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and postoperative care; monitor neuro status and cardiovascular stability
- Utilize unit-specific equipment (e.g., temporary pacing support, chest tubes, A-lines, BiPAP) and collaborate with Respiratory Therapy for vent management
- Administer medications, monitor effects, document changes, and respond rapidly to clinical changes
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other disciplines; ensure accurate and timely EPIC documentation
- Float to other units as needed to support patient care and staffing; maintain patient safety and adherence to unit protocols

Requirements
- Current RN license in New York (active) or eligibility to practice in NY
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (required)
- 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
- EMR experience with EPIC
- NURSYS verification of licenses with ACTIVE NY RN license and all RN licenses
- RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of submission
- Ability to work in an IMCU/PCU setting and to float as needed
