Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel) in Utica, NY. Start date 08/24/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay $2,190 - $2,292 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 2x3 nights in a hospital-based ED setting. This role requires ED experience and will involve floating to related ED areas as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department across age groups, including triage, initial assessment, monitoring, and ongoing re-evaluation.
- Administer medications and deliver treatments per physician orders; participate in resuscitation, rapid assessment, and trauma activation as needed.
- Collaborate with ED team (physicians, PAs, nurses, techs) to develop and implement patient care plans; coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Document care accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record and ensure compliance with unit standards and patient safety protocols.
- Float to related ED areas as required, adapting to changing patient needs while maintaining high-quality, family-centered care.
- Demonstrate charge capabilities if assigned; maintain professional communication with the care team and support patient and family education.

Requirements
- Active NY Registered Nurse license; NURSYS verification required.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications in-hand.
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience with pediatric exposure; documented travel experience required.
- EPIC EMR experience or strong proficiency with similar ED software.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced ED and to float to related areas as needed.
- RTO (requested time off) must be included at the time of submission.

- Locals accepted at local rate within 75 miles of the assignment location
