Customer Service Representative (CSR)

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Handle customer concerns and escalations while providing exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams and departments to resolve service issues and support daily operations.
• Accurately enter and maintain customer information, addresses, item counts, and other records.
• Monitor customer requests and ensure all information is updated and documented correctly.
• Support day-to-day administrative functions and assist with operational communication as needed.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM (schedule may adjust to 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM based on business needs) Pay: $21.42 per hour

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Professional, courteous, and customer-focused approach.
• Basic knowledge of the Tri-State area preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Windows-based systems.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Dispatch, transportation, logistics, or courier industry experience is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Role Purpose:

Process orders and prepare correspondence to fulfill customer needs. Responsible for providing product, service, and transit information to the customer and act as a liaison to facilitate issue resolution.

Key Accountabilities:

• Resolve product or service problems: clarify the customer's complaint, determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problems, expedite correction or adjustment, follow up to ensure resolution.
• Maintain customer records and update account information.
• Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
• Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information. Assist with order and product management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 0-12 months of system, data entry or reporting experience
• 0-12 months of warehouse experience, preferred
