Direct Care Coach – Temporary Wellspring Living Atlanta, Georgia, United States About this Position Direct Care Coach is responsible for the daily care and supervision of the Women’s Residential Program participants in a supportive environment. This role works with therapeutic, educational, and life skills staff to meet organizational goals and individual participant goals. The position is temporary, full‑time, hourly, and non‑exempt. Working hours are Monday‑Friday, 2:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. at the Duluth, GA location. Responsibilities Follow the daily program schedule and participate in activities. Actively model a strength‑based approach with participants and staff. Collaborate with program leaders to develop and implement participant support, personal growth, and development plans. Safely transport participants to appointments and activities, assist with vehicle maintenance and safety. Complete and document hourly house checks for participants during sleeping hours and room checks for participants identified as a potential danger. Lead participant enrichment activities and psycho‑educational groups during evenings and weekends, developing groups based on participant needs and interests. Participate in safety drills, planning, and support proper medication oversight, including random drug screens and medication protocol documentation. Attend all mandatory trainings and staff meetings. Ensure effective documentation, including balanced living tracking sheets for the EHR system. Provide safety checks, maintain cleanliness, and teach participants daily living skills (personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning). Perform administrative functions: daily shift logs, room check sheets, balanced living sheets, medication logs. Maintain flexibility for coverage or emergencies. Follow all program policies, procedures, and guidelines. Provide non‑discriminatory, culturally competent care for participants with diverse backgrounds and trauma histories. Professional Qualifications Administrative, organizational, and computer skills (email, Microsoft Office). Documentation of at least two professional references and one personal reference. High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or higher in a behavioral or social science field preferred. Minimum 1 year of related experience in residential direct care support for relevant populations. Position Requirements Moderate local travel for participant and program needs; clear driving record and vehicle clearance. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work long periods at a computer. Satisfactory criminal history background check and fingerprint records check. Clean motor vehicle record. Proof of completed CPR (biennial) and first aid (triennial) training within the first year of employment. Participation in all required trainings and competency in training content.
