The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and committed to providing high-quality dental hygiene services. This role involves working closely with patients of all ages, including children, to promote oral health and educate them on proper dental practices. Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix is a plus, as is experience in general dentistry. Duties: Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients oral health. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Document patient care accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with all documentation review protocols. Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs. Manage pediatric patients with patience and understanding, ensuring a positive experience during their visits. Stay updated on the latest dental practices and technologies to enhance patient care. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice. Experience in general dentistry and familiarity with pediatric dentistry preferred. Proficient in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft. Strong skills in patient care, documentation review, and maintaining medical records. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
