Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a qualified Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac care and be attentive to the needs of a varied patient population, including young adults to elderly individuals.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, addressing any changes as needed.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.Perform assessments and interventions for patients with cardiac-related conditions, such as chest pain, atrial fibrillation (A-fib), and congestive heart failure (CHF).Assist in pre and post-operative care for cardiac catheterizations.Utilize equipment such as Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo for patient monitoring.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing.Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Cerner experience is preferred.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 24Patient Ratios: 4:1Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Chest Pain, A-fib, CHF, and care surrounding cardiac catheters.Patient Population: Generalized cardiac patients, ranging from young adults to the elderly.Working ConditionsShift: PM to AMGuaranteed weekly hours: 36Weekend requirements: Every other weekend.Floats may occasionally be required to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Neuro Progressive Care Unit (NPCU), and/or Surgical areas.Dress CodeScrub color: Open to any color scrubs.We welcome applicants who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and who possess a family-oriented mindset.Client Details City Hickory State NC
