Working remotely as an Independent Contractor, the International Audio/Video Remote Haitian Creole Interpreter will handle audio and video calls on demand, facilitating communication for the Limited English Proficient community while adhering to professional standards and protocols. Key responsibilities Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform Answer inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and industry best practices Required qualifications Full fluency in both English and Haitian Creole Proficiency with technology, including web-based platforms and Microsoft Word A quiet and secure interpreting space free from outside noises 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred Industry-specific certifications or trainings preferred (e.g., CMI, CCHI)
