ASU RN | Registered Nurse - Perioperative Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with perioperative expertise to join a dynamic healthcare team serving the Southern Gulf Coast region. This role involves comprehensive clinical assessments, development and implementation of individualized nursing care plans, and continuous evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license and demonstrate competence in perioperative nursing practice.

Experience in clinical nursing with a strong foundation in patient assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration is essential. Prior involvement in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice is highly valued.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using sound clinical judgment to identify and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify nursing care plans tailored to individual patient goals and cultural considerations.
• Foster a compassionate, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Respect and incorporate diverse cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds into care planning.
• Advocate for patient rights, confidentiality, and autonomy while addressing ethical and clinical concerns.
• Facilitate learning and education for patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote informed decision-making and health promotion.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Utilize systems thinking to optimize resource use and problem-solving in patient care delivery.
• Engage in professional development, shared governance, and mentorship to enhance nursing practice and workplace environment.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely in compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Participate in research activities and quality improvement projects to support evidence-based nursing practice.
