Hr Coordinator

Position Purpose The HR Coordinator I at the Company is pivotal in advancing HR functions by adeptly assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training initiatives, ensuring that all processes align with regulatory compliance and organizational standards. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage employee records, support administrative tasks, and serve as a key liaison for HR‑related inquiries, contributing to a seamless and positive experience for the Company's Business Customers. The HR Coordinator I's efforts are central to fostering a collaborative workplace culture, supporting HR policy development, and enhancing employee engagement and retention. Key Responsibilities Facilitate Recruitment Processes: Provide comprehensive support to managers during recruitment using Workday to streamline candidate selection and processing. Coordinate Onboarding Activities: Manage and oversee new‑hire onboarding, verify documentation, conduct onboarding sessions, and facilitate seamless integration. Manage Employee Relations: Act as primary contact for employees regarding HR inquiries, offering guidance on policies, benefits, and workplace matters. HR Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate employee records and data in HR systems, ensure compliance, and prepare detailed reports. Training and Development Oversight: Coordinate implementation of LMS training programs, assisting employees and managers. Payroll and Benefits Assistance: Address inquiries related to payroll processes, time and absence management, and benefits enrollment. General HR Support: Contribute to various HR initiatives, participate in HR projects across functional areas, and update management on best practices. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Strong interest in pursuing an HR career. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Availability Monday‑Friday 7:00am – 7:00pm CST. Experience or familiarity with HR systems; Workday experience considered a plus. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP). Experience in manufacturing or industrial sector. Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations. Advanced proficiency in HRIS beyond Workday (SAP, Oracle HRMS). Data analytics skills for HR metrics. Experience working in a culturally diverse environment. Additional language proficiency. Project management experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Experience facilitating workshops or training. Problem‑solving skills and innovative ideas.
