Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication while contributing to a reliable, agile, and innovative team that leads with integrity.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with wayfinding and general inquiries, and help to address security-related concerns in a healthcare location.
• Support staff during high-traffic periods, help to maintain order in waiting areas and common spaces, and communicate clearly with supervisors and/or local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
