About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Mid-Market Sales to spearhead the launch and leadership of its mid-market sales organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for this segment, which includes mid-market health systems, independent physician groups, healthcare retail, mid-market health plans, diagnostic centers, and urgent care organizations. This role demands a strategic leader with a builder's mindset, capable of guiding a team through competitive, multi-stakeholder deals and partnering with executive leadership to scale the company's market position. The VP will also be tasked with mentoring and developing a team of Account Executives, enforcing a high-accountability sales operating rhythm, and supporting the team in complex sales cycles. Applicants for the VP, Mid-Market Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a sales leadership role, preferably in healthcare mid-market or SMB SaaS. The role requires a proven track record in selling SaaS solutions to healthcare organizations, experience in building a sales function from the ground up, and the ability to run scalable sales operating rhythms. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as is proficiency in Salesforce or a similar CRM platform. The ideal candidate will be a culture carrier, modeling clarity, ownership, accountability, and urgency, and will be adept at recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top sales talent. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is also a necessary qualification for this remote role.
