In this role, you'll work with cutting-edge inspection equipment, support critical quality initiatives, and play a direct role in delivering exceptional products to our customers.

What You'll Do

Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) and support Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements

Inspect precision components manufactured from steel, aluminum, plastics, and other materials to ensure compliance with customer and engineering specifications

Program, operate, and troubleshoot advanced inspection equipment, including:

• Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Keyence Vision Inspection Systems

Conduct detailed dimensional and visual inspections throughout the manufacturing process

Perform incoming/receiving inspections to verify materials and components meet quality standards before production

Maintain accurate inspection reports, quality documentation, and compliance records

Enter and track inspection data within the ERP system to support traceability and continuous improvement efforts

Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify quality concerns and drive corrective actions

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications

Experience with dimensional measuring equipment and quality inspection techniques preferred

Knowledge of manufacturing, machining, or quality systems is a plus

Strong computer and documentation skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
