Field Service Technician

Overview Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $34.00/hr. This range is provided by Korn Ferry. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a Field Service Technician in Louisville, KY. Role is 90% in the field with real-time troubleshooting – local travel only, home nightly. What You Will Do Diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of industrial equipment. Perform maintenance on newer battery-powered equipment, as well as traditional diesel and gasoline industrial machinery; conduct diagnostics to identify equipment malfunctions; troubleshoot issues. Interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals related to forklifts and other various construction equipment. Will conduct preventative maintenance and inspections; address any issues as needed. Communicate repair needs, provide estimates, and explain completed work to customers. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensure satisfaction and work with professionalism at all times. Maintain a clean and professional service van; report maintenance needs promptly. Education and Work Experience Must have at least 4 years of US Military experience (Mechanical/Electrical MOS required) Strong knowledge of machine diagnostics, schematics, and technical drawings required Personable and professional demeanor, excellent customer service acumen Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Availability to work overtime, including occasional emergency service or weekend callouts Technical Q&A (will discuss diagnostics, schematics, repairs) Soft skills assessment (must possess clear communication, present with professionalism) Facility tour Title Field Service Technician Client Job ID 510728635 Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Industries Industrial Machinery Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
