What You'll Do

As a Manager BCG Vantage on our Topic Activation path within BCG's Financial Institutions Practice Area, you will collaborate and partner in a growing global team, providing U.S. wealth management industry expertise and insights to regional and global Asset & Wealth Management clients. You will work together with case and proposal teams to develop and provide expert advisory backed by comprehensive analyses. Youll serve as a thought partner and content expert to case teams and topic/sector leaders, helping structure and solve complex business issues. While contributing to client cases, occasional travel to serve clients onsite during staffing assignments is expected.

Additionally, as a Manager BCG Vantage you will drive development of intellectual property and knowledge assets to support the wealth management business, serving as an active contributor to commercialization efforts for the Asset & Wealth Management sector within the Financial Institutions Practice Area, whilst working with business leaders to drive proposals & go-to-market efforts. As a Manager BCG Vantage, you may line manage junior colleagues, taking responsibility for their goal setting, ongoing feedback and career development support.

Within the Asset & Wealth Management sector specifically, we help firms develop differentiated value propositions, accelerate growth, optimize cost structures, and enhance client engagementconnecting strategy and technology to transform how organizations work and build lasting competitive advantage in an increasingly complex market.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Recognized as U.S. wealth management subject matter expert and thought partner, excelling at solving complex business problems through relevant analytical approaches, including leveraging large and complex data sets and tools such as Alteryx to generate insights and develop customized solutions
• Inserting yourself into the business and establishing credibility by taking positions/drawing conclusions on a range of challenges
• Communicating with senior stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to engage your audience effectively with evidence-based insights that turn complex content into clear, compelling narratives
• Managing a portfolio of projects, with strong awareness of business priorities and commercial impact
• Driving development and maintenance of knowledge assets e.g. tools, topic materials, based on different client contexts
• Training, coaching, and mentoring junior team members
• Working in an ever changing and complex environment, and comfortable with ambiguity and navigating a fast-paced environment

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years as management consultant with focus on the U.S. wealth management industry required; candidates who served as in-house strategy consultant embedded within a wealth management firm preferred
• In lieu of consulting experience, 6+ years of experience at wealth management firms required; candidates with direct exposure to corporate/business strategy viewed as a differentiator
• Familiarity with asset/investment management beneficial
• Bachelor's Degree with strong academic achievements required (advanced degree preferred)
• Strong business acumen, superior analytical & problem-solving skills, and conceptual framing capabilities
• Exceptional PowerPoint & Excel skills and aptitude for leveraging and rapidly developing proficiency with AI-powered tools; fluency in English
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders while working in a global collaborative team environment

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

• The base salary range for this role in New York is $136,600.00 - 142,500.00

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
